It has improved by 0.84% over last one week and eased lower by 0.92% in last one month while the market capitalization of Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd has inched up 1.56% and 44.83% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd stood at Rs 64.64 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 355.53% year-on-year, and expanding by 72.10% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 19 crore, easing 6.46% YoY and plunging by 136.21% sequentially. Total expenses increased by 11.85% to Rs 172.69 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 64.71 crore, going up by 17.14% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 35.04 crore, inching up 5.16% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations eased 4.40% to Rs 673.1 crore, while net profit soared by 1558.19% to Rs 164.99 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA plunged by 18850% to Rs 78.52 crore, and PBT tumbled by 2358.12% to Rs 170.94 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 37.56 crore in FY26, as against Rs 16.39 crore in FY25. Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd gained 4.03% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.94% during the same period.
